Brewtist provides guided step-by-step procedures and timers to streamline the brew day, reducing the likelihood of oversight. Its operation does not depend on cloud connectivity, ensuring consistent access regardless of location.

The software offers estimations of several critical brewing metrics—including original gravity, final gravity, liquid volumes, bitterness (IBU), and color—applicable to extract, all-grain, and BIAB recipes. An extensive built-in ingredients database features over 50 grains, extracts, and adjuncts; nearly 150 hop varieties; approximately 200 yeast strains; and more than 50 sugars, flavorings, and finings. Additional ingredients can be downloaded freely via in-app packs or added manually for customization.
